The Port of Hanko is situated at the southernmost point of Finland and is one of biggest commercial ports in the country, close to the major consumer markets of the country. Hanko is the second biggest port for regular liner traffic in Finland.

It is also the leading import port, with a market share of more than 70%, for cars and vehicles into Finland with also a significant export volume.
