ECG members Port of Antwerp-Bruges and Port of Barcelona as well as Antwerp Euroterminal (AET) combine their green port innovation policy with other International Ports under PIONEERS commitment to address Green Deal and Blue Growth goals. The main principle of PIONEERS is to provide the green vision for a sustainable future in European Ports by reducing the environmental impact and creating a Green Port Roadmap.
The First PIONEERS International Conference will be held in the Port House Antwerp on 20 October 2022 under the theme of “Shaping the Green Port of the Future”. The Conference includes speeches, panel discussions and sessions between EU policy makers and experts from Port Authorities, focus on clean energy production and supply, sustainable port planning, optimizing modal shift flows and digital transformation. The debate aims to provide an exclusive interaction between industry stakeholders and to create unique opportunities towards ambitious decarbonisation targets.
