What makes this achievement even more noteworthy is that the scope of the certification has been extended to include Dublin Port. This accomplishment highlights the cluster's commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality management and operational excellence across its ports.
ISO-9001 is an internationally recognised standard for quality management systems, designed to ensure that organisations consistently meet customer requirements and enhance customer satisfaction.
The re-certification process for ISO-9001 involves thoroughly evaluating an organisation's quality management systems, ensuring that they continue to meet the stringent requirements set by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO). By successfully passing this process, Peel Ports Clydeport Cluster has demonstrated its commitment to ongoing improvement and its ability to consistently meet customer expectations.
By incorporating Dublin Port into the ISO-9001 certification, Peel Ports ensures that all three major ports within the Clydeport Cluster – Greenock, KGV, and Dublin – are now ISO-9001 accredited and highlights the cluster's dedication to standardising quality practices across its operations.
