In recognition of, not only their loyal service but performance and committment, we are pleased to announce the promotion to the role of Associate Director with immediate effect for Matt Longden and Kym Dutfield-Cooke. Whilst their day-to-day operational roles will not change significantly, they will play a more active role working with and the full authority of the Board of Directors
Matt Longden joined the company direct from the De Montford University where he achieved a MSc Degree in Distributed System Integration and Computer Science. Matt joined the Company in 2004 direct from University as a Software Developer and moved through a number of senior roles culminating in Executive Manager Research and Development. Matt also spent time in the USA and Thailand on customer assignments. Matt's new role will place him as technology strategy adviser to the Group Directors.
Kym Dutfield-Cooke joined the ProAct Group in 2018 as a Project Manager and with her involvement in several projects, immediately demonstrated her unique skills and ability. Kym graduated from University with a BSc Honours Degree in Computing and Natural Sciences. Her illustrious career has seen her progress though a number of roles as a QA/QC Surveyor, Operations Consultant, Product Manager, Technology Transfer Engineer and Data Analyst in the Geophysics and Oil and Gas industry.
Kym's current role of Executive Manager Customer Experience and Training, places her in an ideal position to work with and advise the Group Directors on customer relations and project management.
ProAct Global Solutions comprises our current three main trading operations of International, Europe and Americas. Proact is a Software Group working exclusively in the global multimodal supply chain planning and execution market. It's core technology, "Enterprise Supply Chain Manager" is a functionally rich, highly flexible software system which perpetually configures to meet the ongoing and disruptive challenges in global multi-modal supply chains.
