CMP publishes results for 2025 – continued stability in a changing world

Copenhagen Malmö Port (CMP) — 2026-04-29

Members Corner

Copenhagen Malmö Port (CMP) today publishes its results and financial statements for the 2025 financial year. For the second consecutive year, revenue exceeded SEK 1 billion, underscoring the resilience of CMP’s business in a year marked by geopolitical tension, shifting trade flows and rising demands on security and preparedness.

During 2025, CMP maintained high activity levels, with turnover amounting to MSEK 1,042. Operating profit declined by 22.4 per cent to MSEK 57.3 as a result of deliberate investments in security, resilience and future capacity, reflecting a long‑term focus on reliability, preparedness and sustainable competitiveness*.

In a time of geopolitical uncertainty and rising demands on critical infrastructure, I am very pleased with CMP’s performance in 2025. Stability does not happen by itself — it is the result of deliberate choices and sustained investment. Our responsibility is to ensure reliability and continuity as complexity and risk increase. That same responsibility also applies to the green transition, which will only succeed if we build infrastructure that enables change at scale,” says Claus Juhl, Chairman of the Board of Copenhagen Malmö Port.

Sustainability remains integrated into CMP’s strategy. Since 2020, Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions have been reduced by 86 per cent, down to 203 tonnes CO₂e. In 2025 alone, emissions decreased by 61.3 per cent, with increasing focus on enabling reductions across the wider value chain.

Looking ahead, CMP continues to strengthen its capabilities in security, resilience and emergency preparedness, while maintaining a clear focus on long‑term value creation, business competitiveness and growth.

CMP has continued to deliver stable growth and efficient operations. Our strategic geographical location in the heart of the Oresund region, with the Baltic Sea just around the corner, continues to attract new cargo flows that connect Scandinavia with the continent. With this foundation, CMP stands well prepared for the future — ready to navigate shifting conditions and adapt to new demands while seizing emerging opportunities,” concludes Claus Juhl.

Copenhagen Malmö Port’s Annual General Meeting will be held on 4 June 2026 in Malmö.
