The European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA) and three top associations call for immediate action from the Hungarian Presidency.
ACEA has teamed up with AVERE, Hydrogen Europe, and Transport & Environment to call on the Hungarian Presidency and the 27 EU member state transport ministers to swifty adopt the General Approach on the Weights and Dimensions Directive as soon as possible.
The revision of the Weights and Dimensions Directive is indispensable to enabling the market uptake of zero-emission heavy-duty vehicles, and this can be achieved through a balanced and effective revision which levels the playing field with conventional models.
